OUR COMMITMENTS

Our restaurant promotes French producers, breeders and craftsmen who share a real passion and important values around healthy and environmentally friendly food.

The Frame has made and continues to make strong commitments to the planet and its inhabitants
with, in particular, the development of an organic vegetable garden of 650m² in the heart of Paris

OUR ANTI-PLASTIC ACTIONS

No more disposable plastic products are used in our restaurant
Use of cardboard straws, wooden stirrers and cardboard cups for takeaway sales
No more individually wrapped food
Tea bags made of vegetable fibre for tea and sugar
Coffee beans instead of coffee pods

OUR ACTIONS AGAINST FOOD WASTE

Communication to make customers aware of food waste
Small plates are set up to encourage small quantities and thus avoid waste
Unsold food from the buffet is used in the staff cafeteria in compliance with hygiene rules

OUR ACTIONS FOR REASONED PURCHASING

Collaboration with local certified organic and seasonal producers
Our supplier Ottanta delivers organic mozzarella by refrigerated cargo bike
Atypique supplies us with organic vegetables that have been downgraded and are therefore not sold by supermarkets
Our baker Frederic Lalos ” Meilleur Ouvrier de France ” delivers fresh bread every morning
100% of our meat is of French origin, 25% of which comes from the Paris region
All our fruit and vegetables are organic
All our eggs in shell are organic
100% of our seafood comes from sustainable fishing and there are no “endangered species” on the restaurant menu
Our cleaning products are eco-labelled

DEVELOPING OUR RESPONSIBLE AND LOCAL PURCHASING POLICY

1 – Local and organic food supply

We are proud to source all our fruit, vegetables and fish locally (100% from France and 25% from the Paris region), and from France/Europe for meat. We work with local partners selected on the basis of values of preservation of species, the environment and health. To give a few examples, Ottanta delivers organic mozzarella by refrigerated cargo bike, while Atypic supplies us with unsold organic vegetables from supermarkets.

2 – Towards more sustainable purchasing

We are committed to optimising our share of responsible sourcing in our purchases, particularly of furniture, IT equipment and uniforms, which we want to equalise.
